Xenace will be holding an educational seminar at The Business Show 2017 next week in London
It is one week until Xenace will be exhibiting at The Business Show 2017 in London. We are really looking forward to getting the chance to show everyone what we can do as well as learning lots from others. One of the main attractions of the show is the many speakers that attend to impart some of their wisdom; we are very proud to announce that we will have a speaking slot on both days to give an educational seminar about the human factor and its impact on cyber-security.
We will discuss ways that businesses can minimise the risks of human error and the consequences of neglecting cyber-security. This includes: the importance of user awareness; the basics of information security (such as threats via email, the internet, the workplace and when in public spaces) and the steps you need to take to ensure your staff are compliant. As the currency of business, data needs to be protected at the same level as your finances, it only takes one click on a suspicious e-mail for hackers to gain fatal access into your systems. We wrote a blog post about this topic if you wanted to read up before attending to get an idea of what we will be talking about in more depth.
The talks will take place on Thursday 16th in the SME Marketing Theatre at 13:15 and on Friday 17th in SME Theatre 14 at 14:00. Tickets to The Business Show are free and it is always a very valuable and enjoyable day for any business to be a part of. As well as this we will, of course, have a stand which is no. 1044. Let us know if you will be attending, we look forward to seeing you there, be sure to come over and say hello!
